Registration
Any resident of Latvia or foreign visitor representing a member of the LMSF or invited by the organizers can participate in the competition.
Anyone can register for the competition either as an individual crew consisting of two participants or as part of a team. A team consists of two fishing crews.
Residents from Russia and Belarus are not allowed to participate in the competition.
Registration and payment of participation fees are done electronically on the website www.sportfishing.live. Each participant needs to create a sports profile and activate it by paying €5 in the “purchase license” section (the new Fishing Card number should be entered in the existing profile).
You can register for the competition until August 15, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
Participants must register for all competition days at once on the sportfishing.live website. Every morning before the start, they must register with the main referee of the competition at the competition venue.
About the tournament
In Riga, Ķīpsala, Ballast dam, City Yacht Club boat dock.
The boat dock is open to all participants from August 17th (Thursday) to August 21st (Monday) at no additional charge, including participant registration, the opening of the competition and the awarding ceremony for the winners.
Boat trailers can be parked in Ķīpsala (http://riversidecamping.lv/en/camping/) from August 17 (Thursday) to August 21 (Monday) at no extra charge. It is also possible to launch a boat in this area.
Yes, the start of the competition for all teams will be at the City Yacht Club boat docks in Ķipsala – http://riversidecamping.lv/en/camping/.
The boundaries of the competition area are not defined. Participants estimate themselves how much time and fuel will be needed to reach the finish line on time.
During the competition, all restrictions set by Latvian legislation, which can be found in the mobile application “Mana cope”, must be observed.

Yes, all participants will get a BTA accident insurance policy for 3 training days and 2 competition days.
Teams in which one of the participants is underage.
Teams in which at least one participant is a woman.
Athletes from Ukraine.
Teams in which both participants are over 65 years old.
If only one participant has reached the age of 65, then only half of the participation fee must be paid.
